Eligibility Criteria

(a) Principal

• To become a Principal in any school under Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan, candidates need to have a Masters Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce from any recognized University with minimum 55% marks.
• Also, they will need a B.Ed. Degree from a recognized University.
• Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in any private, semi-government, or government school affiliated with SEBA or CBSE 10+2 School including KV or JNV.
• Good communication skills in English, Hindi and local vernacular languages.
• Good interpersonal skills, management & leadership quality, administrative ability & integrity, and computer proficiency.

(b) Post-Graduate Teacher (Arts & Science)

• Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Arts or Science from any recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks in both Graduation and Post-Graduation in the respective subject.
• B.Ed. Degree from National Council of Teachers Association Recognized Institutions.
• As schools under Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan are English Medium schools affiliated to CBSE, candidates shall pass 10+2 with English as the medium of instruction.
• Apart from the Major subject, candidates must be proficient to teach two additional subjects.

(c) Graduate Teacher (Arts & Science)

• A graduate in Arts or Science with Honours with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University.
• B.Ed. Degree from an institute recognised by the National Council of Teachers Association.
• As schools under Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan are English Medium schools affiliated to CBSE, candidates shall pass 10+2 with English as the medium of instruction.
• Apart from the Major subject, they will have to teach one additional subject and one language subject.

(d) Graduate Teacher (Hindi)

• Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with minimum 55% marks and Degree with 55% marks or Post Graduation in Arts with 55% marks from any recognised University.
• Or, BA with 55% marks and having Hindi as one of the subjects with 55% marks or Post Graduation in Arts with 55% marks provided they passed BA with one of the subjects as Hindi with 55% marks in Hindi.
• B.Ed Degree from any recognized University. Parangat is to be treated as BEd Degree only for the purpose of Hindi Teaching.

(e) Assistant Teacher (Arts & Science)

• Graduate in Science or Arts with minimum 55% marks.
• Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from National Council of Teachers Association Recognized Institutions.
• As schools under Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan are English Medium schools affiliated to CBSE, candidates shall pass 10+2 with English as the medium of instruction.
• Apart from the Major subject, they will have to teach one additional subject and one language subject.
