About Us

The term “bohikitap” comes from two Assamese words Bohi and Kitap, meaning Copy and Book. And with this platform, we are trying to be your number one source for all kinds of Educational News and updates.
We regularly cover all the announcements as well as the important notifications coming from the various examination conducted bodies in India. We are also trying to cover each and every news and event from all the reputed educational institutes of India. The team at Bohikitap is on a mission to help the students community around in getting all the relevant news and updates in a single platform, that may help them to grow the better way.

How we started?

Though there are many mainstream media firms that regularly cover news and events of the education genre, we can always find a gap within. And so we started this journey in 2020 to help out the students community around.

First of all, we started with providing previous papers of various Competitive examinations to the candidates, directly in their WhatsApp inbox. This free-of-cost campaign went too well, and we received overwhelming responses in a very short period of time. However, we were not able to help all of them, as we were just starting it and we lacked a lot of infrastructure required.

With time, we got a common request from many students to help them stay updated with all the notifications and announcements of the examination, they are preparing for. And this was a turning point for us. We planned and entered the niche of providing relevant Educational News to all. And now, we are here; with this fully functional Educational news website with a plan to serve more in the coming days.

The people behind

Bohikitap was founded and developed by a team of four and we are on the way to building a great team to serve the best to the students’ community around.

Hirak is a Co-Founder of Bohikitap. He is a freelancing Graphic Designer / WordPress Website Developer by profession and completed his Bachelor’s Degree with honours in Mathematics before this. He is the mind behind the creation and development of Bohikitap and has always tried to be a team player to establish Bohikitap to great heights.
Debanjan is a Co-Founder of Bohikitap. He has completed his graduation with Zoology honours and recently completed his Master’s degree. He is an enthusiastic nature observer and has a keen interest in showing his presence in the education domain. Working in this genre motivates him and he leaves no stone unturned, to contribute in any way possible in the field of education.
Partha is a Co-Founder of Bohikitap. He has done his B.Sc and M.Sc in Mathematics. He has been a member of Bohikitap since the very beginning and contributes to content preparations and management. He keeps a good interest in music and sports as well.
Yuvraj is one of the four co-founders of this entity. He did his graduation in Physics, then pursued a B.Ed. degree and now working in his postgraduation. He has been contributing to the development of Bohikitap from the time when this was just an idea and has been a great performer to date.

What next?

Once Bohikitap is completely established as a full-fledged platform for all sorts of Educational News and updates, the team at Bohikitap will be launching ebooks and study materials for extending one more hand to the students’ community. We are working to create a pool of Previous Papers of various competitive examinations in India so that each one of us can access them easily without much effort.
