APSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025: The Assam Public Commission Service (APSC) has released an official notification with ADVT No. 17/2025 inviting online applications for the Junior Engineer (Civil) position in under the Fishery Department, Govt. of Assam. Eligible candidates can submit their applications on or before June 2nd, 2025, after going through all the details related to the recruitment drive in this article.

Pay Scale

The candidate selected under the APSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 will receive a pay of Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- with a Grade pay of Rs. 8,700/-, which comes under the Pay Band – 2 category.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be an lndian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of lndia and must be a permanent resident of Assam. The other requirements are as follows:

Age

• The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years of age as on 01-01-2025
• The upper age limit is relaxable
  • By 5 years for SC/ ST candidates, i.e. up to 45 years
  • By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 43 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/51 dated Dispur the 2tu September, 2020
  • For Ex.Servicemen, the maximum age shall be 42 years as on 01-01-2025 tor Unreserved category, relaxable further by 3 (Three) years for OBC/ MOBC candidates and 5 (Five) years for SC/ ST candidates
  • Persons with benchmark disability (PwBD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ ST/ OBC and UR Category of candidates as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 1441951121dated Dispur the 28th October, 2015

Education Qualification

The Candidate applying under APSC Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025:

• Must have 3 (Three) years Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Civil Engineering & Planning/ Construction Technology from any technical institute recognized by AICTE.
• The Diploma course must be a Regular course. Diploma course obtained through Distance mode of education, by whatever name called, will not be considered.

Other Criteria

• Candidates must possess a valid Employment Exchange Card from the Govt. of Assam.
• Candidates must be a permanent resident of Assam.
• Candidates must submit a Small Family Norms Declaration Form.
