Eligibility
For Junior Engineer
Age: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and more than 38 years of age as on 01 January 2023
Educational Qualification:
- Candidate must have a Diploma in Civil Engineering/Civil Engineering & Planning from any technical institute recognized by the Government.
- The Diplomas/ Courses must be a Regular course. Diplomas/ Courses obtained through Distance Mode of Education, by whatever name called, will not be accepted
- Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least one official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo) except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council are eligible for APSC Recruitment 2023 for 17 AE & JE Vacancies
Citizenship:
To apply for APSC Recruitment 2023 for 17 AE & JE Vacancies the candidate must be an Indian Citizen and must be a permanent resident of Assam. As a domicile proof of the candidate, he /she must upload a copy of the valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purposes /Employment Exchange Registration Certificate /Voter lD or his/her parents will be treated as proof of residency,
For Assistant Engineer
Age: The candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and more than 38 years of age as on 01 January 2023
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an Indian or foreign University recognized by the Government OR Passed Part A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) and possessing a certificate to that effect from the Institution of Engineers (India) only
- Degrees through the Distance mode of education will not be eligible.
- Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate knowledge of at least one official language of the State of Assam (i.e. Assamese/ Bengali/ Bodo) except candidates belonging to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.

- Applicants who have not registered yet, in the Online Recruitment Portal of APSC are first required to go to the APSC’s recruitment website and register themselves by clicking on, the “Register Here”, link and complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process by providing basic details
- After registration candidates may apply for the desired post.
