Bank of India Recruitment 2023: The Bank of India (BOI) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for credit officers and IT officers. The application portal is live now and interested candidates may apply by February 25, 2023.
After the selection process, the chosen candidates will have to pass Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance (PGDBF) course compulsorily. The Fee for the PGDBF course of one year is Rs. 3,50,000/- + GST. The course fee will be reimbursed by the bank after serving 5 years in the bank as a regular employee.

Eligibility for Bank of India Recruitment 2023
Nationality/ Citizenship:
- A Citizen of India or
- A subject of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2, 3, 4 & 5 above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Educational Qualification/ Experience required for Bank of India Recruitment 2023
For Credit Officer (As GBO – JMGS-I): A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government
IT Officer (As Specialist in JMGS-I): 4-year Engineering/ Technology Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation OR A graduate degree in any discipline AND Post Graduate Degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications OR A Graduate degree in any discipline AND having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level.

Selection Process
The Selection process of Bank of India Recruitment 2023 will be done through CBT which will be followed by Group Discussion and personal interviews.

Penalty for Wrong Answers:
There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.
NOTE: The above tests except the Test of English Language and English Descriptive paper will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi. The test of English Language and English Descriptive Paper will be of qualifying nature i.e. Marks obtained in English Language and English Descriptive Paper will not be added while preparing the merit List.
Interview:
Bank will conduct personal interviews of all the selected candidates for Bank of India Recruitment 2023. The total marks allotted for the Interview will be 60. Minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for General/EWS category candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category candidates. III.
Group Discussion (GD):
Group Discussion for Bank of India Recruitment 2023 will be conducted for the candidates selected through the online tests at some selected centers. The total marks allotted for Group Discussion will be 40. Minimum qualifying marks will be 40% for General/EWS category candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category candidates
Final Selection
The final selection of Bank of India Recruitment 2023 candidates will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in Online Examinations, Personal Interviews, and Group discussions. The final list will be prepared in descending order for the respective categories i.e. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/GEN.
In case of equal marks obtained by two or more candidates while preparing the final merit list, the order of such a group of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in the Online examination i.e. candidate securing higher marks in the Online exam will be placed higher in the merit list in Bank of India Recruitment 2023.
If the marks obtained in the online exam are also equal the merit order will be on the basis of Date of Birth i.e. Candidate senior by age will be placed higher in the merit List. The final selection of candidates will be subject to the candidate being found fit medically to the satisfaction of the Bank.
Admission for Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance (PGDBF)
After the final selection of the candidates as above, they must pass the Diploma course (PGDBM) before getting inducted/ absorbed in the Bank.
Course Fee
The Fee for the above said PGDBF course of one year is Rs. 3,50,000/- + GST which can be made by the selected candidate as per the following schedule

Education Loan
Bank may grant Education Loan to the candidate subject to eligibility as per the education loan scheme of our Bank regarding quantum of finance, margin, security, documentation, Rate of interest, repayment, etc. The maximum loan amount granted to the candidate will be equal to the course fee.
Reimbursement of Course Fee
After the successful completion of 5 years of service in the Bank as a regular employee, Bank will reimburse the total course fee to the candidates. For candidates who have availed of education loan towards payment of Course Fees, the loan amount will be reimbursed in the loan account which is subsequently lead to the closure of the account.
