Salary
The apprentices posts under Bank of India Recruitment 2026 will receive a stipend of Rs. 13,000/- per month during the one-year engagement period. The stipend is composed of Rs. 8,500/- paid by the Bank of India and Rs. 4,500/- provided as government stipendiary support. This amount will be credited monthly to the apprentice’s bank account. There are no additional allowances or benefits during the apprenticeship.
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality/Citizenship
Candidate applying under Bank of India Recruitment 2026 must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit
Candidates applying under Bank of India Recruitment 2026 must be at least 20 years of age and not more than 28 years of age. Accordingly, only those born between 2nd December 1997 and 1st December 2005 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
Age relaxation applicable:
- Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe: 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer): 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years
Educational Qualification
Candidate applying under Bank of India Recruitment 2026 must possess a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the central government. The graduation must be completed between 1st April 2021 and 1st December 2025.
Other Conditions
- Candidate must be medically fit as per the Bank’s requirements and must provide a medical fitness certificate from a registered general physician (minimum MBBS).
- Candidate must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and possess an enrolment ID.
- Apprenticeship can be applied for in one state and one zone within that state only.
- Candidates who have undergone apprenticeship previously or have more than one year of job/training experience after qualification are not eligible.
- Reservation is provided for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as per Government norms.
Selection Process
The selection of the candidates under Bank of India Recruitment 2026 will be based on an online written test followed by a test of local language proficiency.

- The total duration of the examination is 90 minutes. All tests except English will be bilingual (English and Hindi).
- Minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank, with 5% relaxation for reserved categories.
- A proficiency test in the local language of the applied state will follow. Candidates who studied the local language at 10th or 12th standard may be exempted from this test.

Steps to Apply
- Register on the NATS apprenticeship portal given below for applying under Bank of India Recruitment 2026
- Login with user ID and password and apply against Bank of India advertised vacancies.
- Receive email from info@bfsissc.com to fill final “Application cum Examination Fee Form.”
- Provide personal data, zone choice, category, PWBD status, and pay the examination fee online.
- Keep a record of the Enrolment ID issued by the NATS portal.
- Refer to the help manual on the NATS portal if facing registration issues.
- After payment, an email with the completed application form will be received within 48 hours.
- Note that the application will be considered complete only upon payment confirmation.
- Apply only via the NATS portal between 25th December 2025 and 10th January 2026; no other mode will be accepted for applying under Bank of India Recruitment 2026.
