BTC Recruitment 2025: Apply now for 569 vacancies of Grade III & Grade IV posts

The Central Selection Board (CSB) of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Kokrajhar, has published an advertisement via Adv. No: CSB /BTC /6 /2025 /73 for the recruitment of Grade III and Grade IV vacancies under the BTC Recruitment 2025.

Online applications from eligible candidates are being invited for these vacancies under several departments including PWD, Education, Forest, Irrigation, Sericulture, Skill Employment & Entrepreneurship (SEED), Information & Public Relations (I & PR), and Agriculture  Department.

Vacancies

A total of 569 vacancies are available for Grade III and Grade IV positions under the BTC Recruitment  2025, which is given below in table below-

Pay Scale

The candidates selected under the BTC Recruitment 2025 will receive a Pay Band and Grade Pay as per the Rule of Pay (ROP), 2017, along with other allowances as admissible.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

To check the department-wise educational qualification criteria, candidates are advised to go through the official advertisement, available in the Important Links section.

Age Limit

• Candidates must not be more than 40 years old as of 1st January 2025.
• The upper age limit can be relaxed as per existing Government rules.

Note: The age of the candidate for BTC Recruitment 2025 will be calculated based on any one of the following documents: School Certificate, Matriculation Certificate, HSLC Certificate, Admit Card, Birth Certificate, or any other Government-issued document (as applicable and notified).

Permanent Residence

• The candidate must be a permanent resident of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) of Assam.
• Candidates from the newly added 60 villages are eligible to apply as well.
• The candidates who are already in Government service should produce “No objection Certificate” (NOC) through proper channel.

Selection Procedure

The selection process for BTC Recruitment 2025 Grade III & Grade IV posts will be based on-

• Written examination
• Oral interview

Written examination: The eligible candidates will have to appear for a written examination of 2 hours duration. The exam will consist of General English, General Knowledge with special emphasis on BTR and Assam, Logistical Reasoning and Aptitude and Arithmetic.

Oral interview: Candidates who pass the written exam will be called for an oral interview.

• Passport size photograph
• Educational Certificate
• Employee Exchange Certificate
• A permanent BTR residential certificate belongs to General category candidates from VCDC/ Municipality as applicable and in the case of ST/ SC/ OBC/ MOBC, a Caste Certificate needs to be uploaded
• For Government employees, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the current employer
• For Candidates from 60 New Villages, proof of residence must be submitted (Either an Aadhaar Card with an address or Voter ID showing the village in Biswanath/ Sonitpur now under Udalguri district

The steps to apply for the Grade III & Grade IV posts under BTC Recruitment 2025 are as follows –

• Interested candidates must visit the official website given below.
• Click on the ‘Apply’ link and register using your mobile number or email ID and then click the ‘I Agree’ button.
• Next, log in to the portal to fill out the application form.
• Provide the required details as asked in the application.
• Upload the supporting document in the correct format.
• After that, the candidates need to pay the application fee using any one of the available options.
• Lastly, they need to submit the application form for BTC Recruitment 2025 and download it along with the payment receipt for future reference.
