Dates for CBSE Term 1 online redressal mechanism extended, apply now

The last date for submission of a dispute against CBSE term 1 results is extended up to the 20th of April.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released a circular recently wherein the board has extended the timeline of the online redressal mechanism for the CBSE Term 1 examination of classes 10 and 12 was provided. Earlier, the last date for submitting any dispute regarding term 1 results was 26th March for class 10 students and 31st March for class 12 students.

However, some schools informed the board that they were not able to raise a dispute against CBSE term 1 results within the given date. Hence, considering these requests, CBSE has released a new circular dated 4th April and decided to extend the last date of the mechanism to 20th April 2022 (Wednesday).

CBSE Term 1 online redressal mechanism: How to apply?

The board, in its circular also provided a list of actions that need to be followed by the schools and the students to apply via the online redressal mechanism for the CBSE Term 1 examination of classes 10 and 12. They are the following:

  1. The student has to file his dispute regarding the Term 1 exam to the school in writing.
  2. The school shall look at the request made by the student. If the dispute can be resolved by the school itself, it will be solved and further information will be communicated to the student by his/her school. If the dispute can’t be resolved by the school, it will be sent to the CBSE.
  3. For the disputes which could not be solved by the school, the school has to upload all the concerns received to CBSE on this website.
  4. The school can upload all the partially filled complaints or the complaints that it could not fill till the new deadline.
  5. Schools that have notified the disputes via email or any other means to the regional headquarters of the CBSE office also have to upload the complaints in the above mentioned link. Any emails concerning those disputes will not be considered by the CBSE.

Any student, either of class 10h or 12th, who wishes to apply in CBSE Term 1 Online Redressal Mechanism can contact the authorities at their schools now. And schools will take all the necessary actions, as required. CBSE has also requested schools to follow all the rules so that CBSE can resolve all the issues in time.
