Dharmendra Pradhan launched Digital Skilling Program for students from Class 7 to Graduation; all you should know 

Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan launched a Digital Skilling program as an initiative that will focus on skilling, reskilling, and upskilling 1 crore students.

Union Minister of Education and Skill Development Shri Dharmendra Pradhan on 6th June 2022 launched a Digital Skilling program in emerging and future technologies for one crore students from class 7 to graduation, which is a collaboration on a national scale between the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Skill and affiliated NSDCs, Skill India programs (National Educational Alliance for Technology) and AICTE.

Dharmendra Pradhan on industry, academia, and policymaker

India has to now cater to the workforce requirement of the world, and technology will help India to do so along with the vast potential when it comes to our human capital. To lead the workforce India must make skilling a mass movement along with re-skilling and up-skilling to face any new and unprecedented changes.

 

To make all this possible Dharmendra Pradhan in his speech said that the Government is functioning as a facilitator in creating a workforce for the future as it is the right time to work with a collaborative approach between industry, academia, and policymakers. Digital Skilling Program- a step towards  ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat’

In the era where the world is stepping towards digitization so is Digital India’s vision, because of which the Supply chain for digital products and the process requires more and more talent. India has a huge opportunity in building a trillion-dollar digital economy as the world looks to India to supply technology, innovation, and talent which could be delivered if India has a skilled workforce.

During the launch event, both Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State for Skill Development and Information Shri Rajeev Chandrasekhar stressed that such a program is one proactive step closer to our ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat’ vision for India and a step towards making India’s tech-ade a reality.
