The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) is inviting applications for filling up 21 posts in the Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC) Scientist positions under the DRDO Recruitment 2025. Through this recruitment process, DRDO is looking to shortlist candidates as Scientists in the areas of Aeronautics, Metallurgy, Electronics, and Chemical Engineering. Interested candidates can apply for the same before 9th May 2025.

Pay Scale

Candidates selected under the DRDO Recruitment 2025 will receive a monthly basic pay based on their post, as detailed in the table below.

Scientist ‘F’	Basic Pay: Rs. 1,31,100/- , Level 13A as per 7th CPC
Scientist ‘E’	Basic Pay: Rs. 1,23,100/- , Level 13 as per 7th CPC
Scientist ‘D’	Basic Pay: Rs. 78,800/-, Level 12 as per 7th CPC
Scientist ‘C’	Basic Pay: Rs. 67,700/-, Level 11 as per 7th CPC

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The educational criteria and experience requirements are different for all disciplines. Candidates are advised to read the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2025 thoroughly before applying.

Age Limit (as of the closing date of the advertisement)

For Scientist ‘D’/ ‘E’/ ’F’ positions, candidates’ age should not exceed 50 years.
For Scientist ‘C’ positions, candidates’ age should not exceed 40 years.
Age relaxation is given as prescribed by the rules of the Government of India.

Nationality
