CSIR IICB Recruitment 2025: Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICB) has released a notification for filling up 21 posts of Technical Assistant and Technician posts. Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- The candidate must be 28 years old as of 31/03/2025 to apply for both the Technical Assistant & Technician posts under CSIR IICB Recruitment 2025
- Age Relaxation:
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- PwBD (SC/ ST): 15 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after education of the actual military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date
- Departmental Candidate (CSIR Council employee)/ Government Departments/Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings: 05 years
Educational Qualification for Technical Assistant
- The candidate must have a B.Sc. or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks.
- The candidate must have One year of experience in operating sophisticated instruments like NMR, LCMS, GCMS, HPLC, etc.
- Desirable: M.Sc. in Chemical Sciences with experience in pharmaceutical R&D or drug discovery.
Educational Qualification for Technician
- The candidate must have an SSC/ 10th Standard with Science subjects (minimum 55%) and an ITI certificate or trade certificate in Mechanics (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning).
- Desirable: One year of industrial experience in the relevant field.

- Next, click on the “Registration” button
- Then, candidates will have to register by providing their mobile number and email, along with other personal details
- Based on the above information, the registration number will be generated
- After successful registration, candidates must log in using the credentials and fill out the online application form
- Enter all the details as directed and upload the essential documents along
- After this, the candidate must complete the application form by paying the application fee
