The Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has released the official notification inviting online applications for the 63 Junior Executive posts under the HPCL Recruitment 2025. The application process began on March 26, 2025, and will remain open until April 30, 2025. Interested candidates can check the details in this article before applying.

Pay Scale

The candidate selected under the HPCL Recruitment 2025 for Junior Executive posts will receive a monthly pay of Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,20,000/-.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Experienced candidates are also eligible to apply for the Junior Executive posts.
• The candidates required a minimum of 60% marks for the UR/ OBC/ EWS category and a minimum of 50% for the SC/ ST and PwBD candidates.

Age Limit

• The candidate’s maximum age should be 25 years to apply for HPCL Recruitment 2025.
• However, certain relaxations per Govt norms exist for SC/ ST/ OBC/ OMBC/ PwBD candidates.

Selection Process

The selection procedure for job vacancies of Junior Executive posts is given below-

• Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Group Task/ Group Discussion
• Skill Test
• Personal Interview
• Pre-employment Medical Examination
• Physical Fitness Efficiency Test

Computer-Based Test (CBT): The computer-based test will consist of objective questions and will comprise two parts-

• General Aptitude: It consists of four topics: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude Test, Intellectual Potential Test (Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation).
• Technical/ Professional Knowledge: In this part, it consists of questions related to the specific discipline

Group Task/ Group Discussion & Skill Test: Candidates qualifying in the CBT will be shortlisted for the next stages, which are the group task and skill test.

Personal Interview: Final selection will be based on performance in the CBT, group activities, and the interview.

Pre-employment Medical Examination & Physical Fitness Efficiency Test: Candidates need to be medically fit and/or clear the physical endurance tests as per the standards prescribed for the post.

Note:

• Candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks in each stage of the selection process to move to the next stage.
• The Physical Fitness Efficiency Test will be only a qualifying criteria (it won’t affect the merit ranking).
• A merit list will be prepared category-wise and discipline-wise for candidates who pass all stages.

• Visit the application portal using the official website linked below
• Find the ‘Careers’ section and click on ‘Job openings’, a new page will open
• Next, ”Click Here to Apply” button and proceed by clicking it.
• On appearing to the next page, you’ll see the option for “Sign up for New Registration”
• Fill in the required registration details and get yourself registered in the portal
• Once registered, log in to the admission portal and fill in all the details as asked on the website
• Next, upload the necessary documents and images
• After that, the candidates need to pay the application fee using any one of the available options
