Pay Scale
The post of Security Assistant/ Executive of IB Recruitment 2025 is classified under General Central Service, Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial. The pay scale is Level-3 (₹ 21700-69100) in the pay matrix, plus admissible central government allowances.
- Special Security Allowance @ 20% of basic pay in addition to other government allowances.
- Cash compensation for duty performed on holidays, subject to a ceiling of 30 days.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 and 27 years as on 17th August 2025 to apply for IB Recruitment 2025.
- Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates (Non-Creamy Layer).
- Departmental candidates up to 40 years with 3 years of continuous service may get relaxation.
- Widows, divorced women, and judicially separated women not remarried get relaxation up to 35 years (UR), 38 years (OBC), and 40 years (SC/ST).
- Age relaxation also applicable for ex-servicemen and meritorious sportspersons as per government instructions.
Educational Criteria
- Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education.
- Possession of domicile certificate of the state to which candidate is applying.
- Knowledge of any one language/ dialect specific to the SIB applied for (to read, write, and speak).
Experience
Field experience in Intelligence work is desirable but not mandatory.
Selection Process
- Tier-I: Online objective test.
- Tier-II: Written (descriptive) translation test.
- Tier-III: Interview/ Personality test.
- Final selection based on combined performance in Tier-I and Tier-III.
- Character and Antecedent verification and Medical Examination post selection.
