IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) holds the IBPS Clerk test every year to hire applicants for clerical positions in the country’s 11 public sector banks. These positions are filled via the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) that is used by all public sector banks.
The forthcoming IBPS Clerk test is the 13th version and is known as IBPS Clerk CRP XIII for the fiscal year 2023-24. The exam is divided into two parts: the preliminary exam and the mains. Candidates who pass both tests are chosen for the 4545 clerical positions. According to the IBPS Clerk 2023 Notification, online registration for IBPS Clerk 2023 began on July 1, 2023, with the application deadline being July 21, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria of IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023
Citizenship
To apply for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023 a candidate must be
- A Citizen of India or
- A subject of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2,3,4 & 5 above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: 28 years
A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1995 and not later than 01.07.2003 (both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualification for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet/ Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/ she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in computer operations/ Language/ should have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ College/ Institute.

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for the Online Main examination.

- Proceed to register yourself with the required necessaries
- After this, candidates will now have to log in using their respective credentials
- Here, fill out the online application form with all the essential details and upload the required documents
- Finishing this, proceed to the payment section, and pay the fee amount through any one of the available options
- And submit the online application form
- Take a printout copy of the application form and payment receipt for future reference

Pre-Examination Training (PET) for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023
Note- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, for the safety of the candidates, PET during this period may not be held.
Pre-Examination Training may be arranged by the Regional Rural Banks to a limited number of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward Classes/ Minority Communities/ Ex-Servicemen/ Persons With Benchmark Disabilities for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward Classes/ Minority Communities for the Post of Officer Scale-I at some centres.
All eligible candidates who wish to avail of Pre-Examination Training should fill in the relevant column in the ON-LINE APPLICATION. All expenses regarding travelling, boarding, lodging etc. will have to be borne by the Candidate for attending the Pre-Examination Training programme at the designated Centers. IBPS, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Pre- Examination Training Centers and/ or add some other Centers and/ or make alternate arrangements, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.
