IBPS RRB Recruitment 2024: IPBS has recently released a notification informing the about the registrations for the next Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (CRP RRBs XIII) for recruitment of Group “A”- Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”- Office Assistant (Multipurpose). The preliminary and main examinations will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in August and September 2024.
The interviews for recruitment of Group “A”- Officers (Scale-I, II & III) under the same process will be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authorities tentatively in November 2024.
Eligibility Criteria for IBPS RRB Recruitment 2024
Citizenship
To apply for IBPS RRB Recruitment 2024, a candidate must be
A Citizen of India or
A subject of Nepal or
A subject of Bhutan or
A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2,3,4 & 5 above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt of India.
(1) For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
Age: Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.06.1996 and later than 01.06.2006 (both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent
Proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating RRB
Desirable: Working knowledge of Computers
(2) Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)
Age: Above 18 years – Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1994 and later than 31.05.2006 (both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent Preference will be given to the candidates having degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy;
Proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating RRB
Age: Above 21 years – Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1992 and later than 31.05.2003 (both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degrees in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy.
Post Qualification Experience: Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Age: The candidate must be above 21 years – Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1992 and later than 31.05.2003 (both dates inclusive)
(a) Information Technology Officer
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in Electronics/ Communication/ Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP, etc.
Post-Qualification Experience: One year in the relevant field
(b) Chartered Accountant
Educational Qualification: Certified Associate (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
Post Qualification Experience: One Year as a Chartered Accountant
(c) Law Officer
Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
Post-Qualification Experience: Two years as an advocate or should have worked as a Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period of not less than two years
(d) Treasury Manager
Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution
Post-Qualification Experience: One Year (in the relevant field)
(e) Marketing Officer
Educational Qualification: MBA in Marketing from a recognized university
Post-Qualification Experience: One Year (in the relevant field)
(f) Agricultural Officer
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
Post-Qualification Experience: Two Years (in the relevant field)
(5) Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)
Age: Above 21 years – Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1984 and later than 31.05.2003 (both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having a Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
Post-Qualification Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution
Selection Procedure of IBPS RRB Recruitment 2024
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
First, the candidates will need to appear in the Preliminary examination.
After clearing the cut-off of the preliminary exam of IBPS RRB Recruitment 2024, candidates will be required to appear in the Main Examination.
Officer Scale-I
First, the candidates will need to appear in the Preliminary examination.
After clearing the cut-off of the prelims, candidates will be able to appear in the Mains Examination.
Then the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the Mains Examination of IBPS RRB Recruitment 2024.
The shortlisted candidates will subsequently be called for an Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the help of NABARD and IBPS.
Officer Scale-II & III
Candidates will have to appear in a single-level objective examination.
Based on the scores of the single-level examination, candidates will be shortlisted.
And then the shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the help of NABARD and IBPS.
