Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate applying for IBPS SO Recruitment 2024 must be either
- a Citizen of India or
- a subject of Nepal or
- a subject of Bhutan or
- a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Age
The candidate’s age applying under IBPS SO Recruitment 2024 must be a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 30 years i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2004 (both dates inclusive)

Selection Procedure
The selection process of IBPS SO Recruitment 2024 is divided into three phases, that is- the Preliminary Exam, the Main exam and the Interview round. Candidates who will qualify online Preliminary examination will have to appear for an online Main examination. The shortlisted candidates after the online Main examination will be subsequently called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the Participating Banks and coordinated by the Nodal Banks in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS.

(iii) Interview
- The total mark allotted for the Interview round of IBPS SO Recruitment 2024 is 100.
- The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWBD candidates).
- The weightage (ratio) of the Online Main Exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Main Exam and Interview of CRP SPL-XIII.
