IIT Guwahati is all set to organize GATE 2026; Check all relevant details here

The official website for GATE 2026 has been launched by IIT Guwahati and registrations will begin very soon. Here is all you should know about examination.

GATE 2026: The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, will be organising the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for the year 2026, and online application forms for the same will be accessible from August 25, 2025. The IIT Guwahati will examine the computer-based test (CBT) mode from the 7th of February to the 15th of February, 2026.

The GATE examination is conducted every year to check the comprehensive understanding of candidates in various undergraduate-level subjects in Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, and Humanities. It is being conducted by IISc Bengaluru and seven IITs comprising IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee, on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB), Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.

Benefits of a GATE score
