JEE Advanced 2025: The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2025 (JEE Advanced 2025) will be conducted by the seven Zonal Coordinating IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board 2025 (JAB 2025). JEE Advance 2025 will have two papers, both of which are mandatory. The registrations are open until 2nd May 2025. Eligibility Criteria
For Indian Nationals, OCI/ PIO (I), Foreign Nationals and OCI/ PIO (F)
- Candidate must be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (all categories) in the B.E./ B.Tech. paper of JEE (Main) 2025
- The candidate must be born on or after 1st October, 2000 (Five years age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates)
- Candidates must have a maximum of two attempts in consecutive years
- Candidates must have appeared for the first time in Class XII in 2024 or 2025, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects
- Candidates who were allocated a seat but did not report or withdrew before the last round or canceled seat before last round are also eligible
Exam Pattern
The exam will be conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for both the papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) for a total duration of 6 hours. Extra two hours will be given to PwD candidates. The syllabus consists of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Selection Procedure
Candidates must appear for both the papers of JEE Advanced. Based on that, the final results will be released. Rank lists (common and category specific) will be prepared and based on that, Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) begins the counselling and admission procedure to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. Candidates will be allocated the seats based on JEE (Advanced) AIR, category reservation, seat availability, and preferences filled. After this, candidates will need to Report online or at Reporting Centre, upload documents and pay the fees.

How to apply for JEE Advanced 2025?
To apply for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam, candidates can follow the given steps below –
- First, candidates must ensure that they are eligible to apply.
- If you already have the JEE Main login credentials, login using the same. If you are a direct registered candidate, register first to login and fill the application form.
- After logging in, fill the form with personal and academic details.
- Upload the relevant documents in prescribed format.
- Pay the application fees.
- Keep a note of your application ID and payment receipt for future reference.
