RGU Admissions 2023: The Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) of Arunachal Pradesh has released admission notifications for the upcoming session and announced the registration dates for different courses.
The University will follow its own entrance examinations i.e., Rajiv Gandhi University Common Entrance Test (RGUCET) and Rajiv Gandhi University Ph.D. Entrance Test (RGUPET) for intaking students in its Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programmes.
RGU Admissions 2023: Courses & Seat Capacity
There are various PG and PhD courses, available for admissions. There are also a few UG courses under RGU Admissions 2023 available for students. The details are laid below:
About UG admissions
The administration had already issued a notification (attached below) regarding UG admissions. The admissions would be solely based on CUET UG 2023 scores. No other criteria have been imposed for UG admissions. The Subjects such as B.Sc Agriculture, B.Music, BCA, etc. will be covered under CUET UG 2023. PG and Ph.D. admissions
The university is one of the prestigious institutions in Arunachal Pradesh which has 45 temporary and permanent affiliated colleges under its belt. It provides admission to 26 Ph.D. programmes and 37 postgraduate programmes. These exams will be conducted through RGUPET and RGUCET respectively.
All of the PhD courses will be undertaken on the University campus but certain PG courses are available in affiliated colleges as well. Students applying for those courses will be selected by the University itself and based on the remaining seats they may be allotted to different affiliated colleges. It will be decided by the number of seats available and the rank they obtain in RGUCET.
The RGUCET examinations will also consider other Undergraduate programmes and certain Advanced/ Postgraduate courses. These UG courses are not related to CUET UG 2023 examination. For Diploma/ Certificate courses, there won’t be any entrance examinations. They will be selected on a merit basis. In the case of merit basis as well, the candidates must follow the guidelines and register themselves under RGU Admissions 2023 on the official website.

RGU Admissions 2023: How to apply?
- First of all, candidates need to visit Online Admission Portal
- Next, they will need to enter their phone number and email and get themselves registered
- Once done, candidates will need to log into the portal and fill up all the details as asked on the website
- Then, they will need to upload their photo & signature and pay the application fees
- Lastly, candidates need to download the application form and payment receipts for future references
Application fees
The examination fee is Rs 700, for RGUCET and RGUPET application registration. It is to be noted that the fees are the same for each category. There is no difference in the fees of different categories here.

Exam Centre
The examination centre for the entrance exam RGUCET and RGUPET will occur on RGU Campus itself. The institution will not provide any kind of Travel allowance (TA) or staying arrangements for the students.
