Salary and Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
The candidates applying under RRB Group D Recruitment 2026 must be between 18 to 33 years of age as on 1st January 2026. Age relaxations are applicable for various categories:
- OBC Non-Creamy Layer: 3 years
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to 3, 6, or 8 years depending on category (after deduction of service length)
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and UR: 10 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Between 13 to 15 years based on category
- Other category-wise relaxations for railway staff, female candidates, and apprentices as per rules
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess the requisite educational qualification specified for the post as of the application closing date (2nd March 2026). Generally, a 10th pass or ITI certificate or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT is required. Candidates awaiting final results are NOT eligible to apply.
Selection Process
The recruitment process to be selected under RRB Group D Recruitment 2026 consists of the following stages:
