The SAMARTH Assam UG Admissions 2026 registration process for the academic year 2026-27 is set to begin soon. Students interested in enrolling in Four-Year Undergraduate Programmes and Five-Year Integrated Master’s Programmes in Higher Education Institutions in Assam can apply through the SAMARTH Admission Portal. The registration will commence on 11th April 2026. Candidates are encouraged to link their APAAR ID during the registration for a smoother application experience.

Choice of Courses & Colleges

Students can apply for multiple Undergraduate & Integrated Masters programme in various colleges and universities accross Assam.
Students will get multiple options for program selection either in the same Higher Educational Institution (University/ Colleges) or in different Higher Educational Institutions (HEI) (University/ Colleges) through the SAMARTH Assam UG Admissions 2026.
In case, his/ her application is selected in more than one college in the first merit list, the student will have to opt for only one college/ option to process the admission and the selection to the remaining colleges/ option appearing in the first Merit list will lapse.
If they get selected in the second merit list for any remaining colleges/ option in which they were not selected in the first merit list, then they will have the option to cancel the admission taken under the first merit list and then select one of the colleges/ options out of the ones appearing in the second merit list. The same will be the case with the third merit list.

How to apply for UG & Integrated Masters Admissions in SAMARTH Assam UG Admissions 2026?

To apply for UG & Integrated Masters admissions through the SAMARTH Assam UG Admissions 2026, follow the steps below-

Go to the official website of Samarth Portal for UG & Integrated Masters Admissions 2026.
Click on ‘New Registration’ button and register yourself using your name, phone number, and email address.
During Registration, you will need to create a password.
The Registration number will be sent to your email and phone number.
After registration log in to your profile using the Registration Number and the password.
Then complete your profile.
After completing the personal profile, select the Autonomous college/ University from the drop-down options.
If you have selected a university, you will need to choose the college under that university where you would like to take admission
After that, select the course from the options shown.
Next, the students should submit the application form.
Finally, after applying for colleges you may download the Application form for future reference.

Note: Currently, candidates will not be able to select their desired Institutions & Programmes , as the facility for the same will open after the declaration of Class 12/ HS 2nd Year result.
