SBI PO Recruitment 2025: The State Bank of India has released the official notification for Probationary Officer (PO) Recruitment 2025. This recruitment drive is being conducted for a total of 541 vacancies, offering aspirants a valuable opportunity to start a career in India’s largest public sector bank. The notification was released on June 23, 2025, and the online application process commenced on June 24, 2025. The last date to apply is 14th July 2025.
Eligible candidates are required to register online for the SBI PO Recruitment 2025, which will be held in three Phases, i.e., (i) Prelims, (ii) Main, and (iii) Interview, Group Discussion & Psychometric Test. Candidates shortlisted after Prelims will have to appear for Mains and be subsequently called for a Personal Interview.

Salary of SBI PO
- As per the official advertisement, the basic pay of a Probationary Officer at State Bank of India is ₹48,480 (with 4 advance increments), in the scale of ₹48,480–2,000(7)–62,480–2,340(2)–67,160–2,680(7)–85,920 under Junior Management Grade Scale-I.
- Additional benefits include DA, HRA, CCA, PF, NPS, LFC, medical facilities, lease rental allowance, and other benefits as per the rules.
- The approximate annual CTC at the Mumbai centre is ₹20.43 Lacs, which may vary based on the place of posting.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (as on 30/09/2025)
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
- Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for an interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30/09/2025.
- Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, and Cost Accountant would also be eligible.
Age Limit (as of 01/04/2025)
- Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as of 01/04/2025 i.e. candidates must have been born between 02.04.1995 and 01.04.2004 (both days inclusive).
- There are also certain relaxations in the Upper age limit to be selected under SBI PO Recruitment 2025 for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
