SSC Calendar 2023-24: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the tentative calendar for all the examinations to be held in the session 2023-24. This year, SSC is looking to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) and Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSL) in the months of June, July, and August; which is quite earlier compared to the last few years.

About SSC
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is a department of the Government of India and is responsible for filling numerous job openings in its departments, ministries, and subordinate offices. It was established in 1975 and since then, it functions as a subordinate office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the SSC now focuses on holding competitive exams, mostly in the Computer Based Examination (CBE) style.

SSC CGL & SSC CHSL 2023
As per the SSC calendar, the advertisement for SSC CGL 2023 will be out on the 1st of April, and interested candidates will have time upto May 1 to submit their application forms. Whereas for SSC CHSL 2023, the notification will be out on May 9th and the application portal will be live till the 8th of June, 2023.
Notes
In the SSC Calendar for the 2023-24 session, SSC has mentioned the recruitment of the MTS (Civilian) in the Delhi Police. The notification reads “The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided that the recruitment of MTS (Civilian) in the Delhi Police Examination- 2022 and the recruitment of Constable (Executive) Male/ Female in the Delhi Police Examination, 2022 will be conducted by Delhi Police.”
