Pay Scale

Eligibility
(a) Age Limit
- The candidate’s age should not be more than 38 years as of 01/01/2024 to apply for Madhabdev University Recruitment 2024.
- However, certain relaxations per Govt norms exist for SC/ ST/ OBC/ OMBC/ PWD candidates.
(b) Educational Criteria
- The educational qualification and selection procedure in Madhabdev University Recruitment 2024 will be as per Govt. O.M. No. AHE.239/ 2021/ 68 dated 24/01/2022 with the NET/ SLET/ SET as mandatory eligibility conditions.
- Candidates having Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC Ph.D. Regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility conditions of NET/ SLET/ SET.
- The candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks in the concerned subject. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the Graduate or Master’s level for the SC/ ST/ PWD categories for the purpose of eligibility.
- The candidate has to acquire qualifications as of the last date for submitting applications. However, eligibility like M.Phil./ Ph.D./ Seminar Papers/ Publications can be acquired and submitted on the date of the interview and not beyond.
- The candidates must be from the State of Assam and know the local language.
- In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel with an NOC obtained from the concerned authority.
- Candidates outside Assam are requested to go through the Govt. of Assam (Higher Education) Order No.AHE.429/ 2021/ Pt/ 3 dated 01.02.2022.

Application Fees
The candidates applying for Madhabdev University Recruitment 2024 have to pay Rs. 2000 (Rs. 1500 in case of SC/ ST) in favour of Madhabdev University, Narayanpur, Lakhimpur payable at State Bank of India, Narayanpur Branch (IFSC: SBIN0017208) must accompany the application.

No. MDU/22Advt.01/20/222 dated 29.04.2022 published by the University need not have to pay the Application Fee.
