Assam CEE 2025: Application Portal to close on 27th February; Hurry up!

Assam CEE 2025: The Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) is a state-level entrance exam held by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) for admission to the four year B. Tech programs in Engineering colleges of Assam. This year, ASTU will conduct the exam on 27th April from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Read the article to know more and apply before 27th February, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality

• The candidate must be the citizen of Indian and Assam, holding a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued by the competent authority.
• Children of Central Government employees posted in Assam for less than 20 years are also eligible under this quota.

2. Age Limit

• The minimum age to apply for Assam CEE 2025 is 17 years (as of the date of registration).
• However, there is no upper age limit to apply for the exam.

3. Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed the 10th and 12th examination (or equivalent) in a single sitting without grace marks with the mandatory subject combination Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• Also, candidates with a 3-year diploma in Engineering from the State Council for Technical Education, Assam are eligible as well.

NOTE –

• Candidates who studied from Class VII to XII in government schools under SEBA/ AHSEC are eligible for the 5% reservation of seats.
• The categories OBC/ MOBC, SC, ST, and PWD candidates have relaxed eligibility criteria.

Exam Pattern

• Syllabus: The syllabus for Assam CEE 2025 will be based on the syllabus of Assam State School Education Board, Division II (Higher Secondary Division).
• Duration: The duration of the exam will be three hours.
• Exam type: The exam will be of Multiple-Choice Questions with 120 questions in a single paper comprising of three main subjects.
• Marking scheme:
  • For correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
  • For every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
  • If multiple answers are chosen, it will be regarded as a wrong answer.

How to apply for Assam CEE 2025?

• First of all, candidates need to visit the official website by clicking on the link given below.
• Then click on “CEE 2025 Online Application”.
• Next, click on the button given for registration of new candidates.
• Read all the instructions shown and go through the information bulletin to ensure that you meet the eligibility conditions.
• Fill in the required registration details, and get yourself registered in the portal.
• Once registered, log in to the admission portal and fill in all the details as asked on the website.
• Next, upload the necessary documents and images, and pay the applicable fee.
• Lastly, submit the application form for Assam CEE 2025 and download a copy of the form and payment receipts for future reference.
• Also, keep a note of the user ID and password, as it will be required for subsequent logins.

Application Fees

• The application fee for Assam CEE 2025 is 1350 INR.
• It can be paid through Credit Card (Master/ Visa), Debit Card (Master/ Visa/ Rupay), Net Banking OR UPI.
• Once the payment is made, it can not be refunded.

Post Selection

• Results will be declared based on the final answer key, which will be published on the ASTU website.
• The ranking will be decided based on the total marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry combined.
• After the ranking list is out, candidates must attend the counselling process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam.
• Candidates must produce original documents (educational certificates, category certificates, etc.) during counselling.
• Allocation of seats will be based on merit in Assam CEE 2025, category of candidates, and availability of seats in the respective colleges.
