Assam Governor’s Pratibha Protsahan Yojana 2024: Free coaching initiative for UPSC CSE aspirants

Assam Governor’s Pratibha Protsahan Yojana 2024: The Governor of Assam in partnership with Project UPSC, organised by Paavan Chintan Dhara Ashram (PCDA) and Arya Pratibha Vikas Sansthan (APVS) functioning under Arya Samaj, will provide a free Coaching programme for the aspirants competing for UPSC Civil Services Examination. This initiative will select 512 dedicated aspirants (12 for Offline/ direct mode and 500 for Indirect/ online modes), offering them the necessary resources and mentorship to excel in both the Prelims, Mains and Interview of the UPSC Civil Services Examination. 

The Assam Governor’s Pratibha Protsahan Yojana 2024 programme will provide quality coaching to the aspirants and help them fulfil their dreams of serving the nation. The application portal for the same is open, and interested candidates have time up to the 6th of October, 2024 to apply for the same.

Assam Governor’s Pratibha Protsahan Yojana 2024: Full details

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be a resident of Assam.
• Candidates must be a graduates in any stream from a recognised college/ university.
• Candidates must conform to the age group as per UPSC to appear in the upcoming UPSC Civil Services examination.

Important Documents

• Class-X/ Class-XlI Examination, Admit Card/ Pass Certificate/ Marksheet issued by Central/ State Board indicating Date of Birth in support of their claim of age
• Certificates of HSLC to Graduation document
• Adhaar Card
• Voter Card (those who do not have Adhaar Card)

Steps to apply

• First of all, click on the link given below to apply for the Assam Governor’s Pratibha Protsahan Yojana 2024
• A portal will appear on your screen and upload your photo and enter your personal details
• Click on next, enter your address information & educational details
• Lastly, upload your signature and submit the form
• After successful registration for the Selection Test, the link to the Admit Card will be sent to your respective email ID/ Phone number

Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates for the Assam Governor’s Pratibha Protsahan Yojana 2024 will be based on the candidate’s performance in three exam stages. The exam stages are given below:

1st Stage: Preliminary Screening

• Preliminary Screening of Application Forms will be based on Class 12th Percentage and Graduation Percentage
• Top 5,000 aspirants will be selected and will be eligible to appear in the Screening Test
• The Screening test will be in Offline Mode

2nd Stage: Group Counselling

Out of 5,000 aspirants that appeared on Preliminary Screening, 600 students will be selected for Group Counselling

3rd Stage: Personal Interview

• Out of 600 students, 50 students will be selected for Personal Interview
• Out of these 50 students, 12 will be selected for Offline/ Direct mode of Coaching
• The remaining 38 students, not selected for Offline/ Direct mode will get automatic seats in Online Mode
• The remaining 462 students out of 550 seats will be allotted in Online Mode
• These 462 students, will be selected through Group Counselling sessions only
• 88 students will not be selected in this process
