CAT 2023 Admit Cards: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has issued the Admit Cards for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 examination. Aspiring candidates scheduled to take the test on November 26, 2023, can now download their Admit Cards from the official website. For CAT 2023, the registration portal was accessible from August 2nd, and applicants completed their forms by September 21st, 2023.

How to download CAT 2023 Admit Cards?
CAT 2023 will be conducted in centres spread across 155 test cities. Candidates who have applied for it can follow the below-mentioned steps to download their CAT 2023 Admit Cards:
- First of all, candidates will need to visit the official website by clicking on the link given below
- Then, click on the login button and enter their user ID and password
- Once logged in, click on the given option to view and download the CAT 2023 Admit Cards
- Lastly, take a printout of the same as candidates will need to carry it to the examination hall
Exam Pattern
- The CAT 2023 will be conducted on November 26, 2023 (Sunday) in 3 sessions.
- There will be 40 minutes for candidates to answer the questions of each section, and they will not be allowed to switch sections while answering questions in a section.
- The sections are as follows:
- Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
- Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
- Section III: Quantitative Ability
- The test paper will have both MCQ and non-MCQ type questions, however, the number of questions varies and is not disclosed on the official website.
- For MCQ-type questions, 3 marks will be awarded for correct answers, 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers, and no marks for unattempted questions.
- Whereas for questions other than MCQs, 3 marks will be assigned for every correct answer and no marks will be deducted for incorrect or unattempted answers.
Syllabus
All candidates should be aware that the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) has not yet released a specific syllabus for the CAT 2023 examination. As a result, it is recommended that candidates refer to previous question papers to understand the expected syllabus and included topics. Furthermore, candidates can utilize the mock test provided on the official website to familiarize themselves with the exam pattern and types of questions.
Admission Procedure
After the successful completion of the examination, the IIMs will release the scorecards for CAT 2023 by the second week of January 2024. Subsequently, IIMs will start the admission process for various programs based on these scores. While a candidate’s performance in the entrance test holds significant weight in the selection process, each IIM may have its specific set of rules and eligibility criteria for admissions. Additionally, IIMs might consider the candidate’s previous academic performance, relevant work experience, and other similar factors during the shortlisting process at different stages of admission.
