The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has opened the application portal for Common Entrance Examination (CEE 2022) to select candidates for admission into B.Sc. Nursing and D.Pharm courses in the institutes of Assam affiliated with SSUHS.
The registration portal is open from the 15th of July and interested candidates will have time upto the 25th of July to fill up their forms for the same. SSUHS will conduct the CEE 2022 on the 14th of August, and admit cards for the same will be out on the 10th of August, 2022.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc Nursing Course
- Applicant must be a female candidate (for institutions under Govt. of Assam). However, male candidates may also appear in the CEE 2022 for admission into Institutes in the Private Sector.
- Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (10+ 2) from Science stream or Equivalent Examination from recognized Board/ Council/ University with English as one of the subjects and securing at least 50% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General category candidates and 40% marks for the candidates belonging to SC/ST(P)/ST(H) category without grace marks.
- Must be a Permanent Resident of Assam.
- Age Limit: She must be within 17 to 24 years of age on 31-12-2022. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 (three) years for SC/ST candidates.
- Reservation of seats: There shall be reservation of seats for EWS/ SC/ ST(P)/ ST(H)/ OBC /TGL, Ex-TGL/ PwD (Divyang) category from the available seats as per Govt. Rule.

- The candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) in Sciences or Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and/ or Mathematics from a recognized Board/ Council/ University without grace marks.
- Age Limit: Not below 17 and above 24 years on 31-12-2022. The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ OBC/ MOBC category.
- The candidate must be a Permanent Resident of Assam.
- Reservation of seats: There shall be reservation of seats for EWS/ SC/ ST(P)/ ST(H)/ OBC /TGL, Ex-TGL/ PwD (Divyang) category from the available seats as per Govt. Rule.
CEE 2022: Steps to Apply
- Visit the official website of SSUHS, i.e. www.ssuhs.in
- Click on the highlighted link saying ‘Online Application Form For CEE 2022‘
- Next, click on the ‘Application Form’ button and thoroughly read the instructions given and then proceed to the application form by clicking on ‘Next’
- Now, fill up all your details as asked in the admission portal, which includes your personal information, address info, and academic details, and then upload your passport photo and signature
- Once the form is submitted, a username will be generated; which will be used to login into the admission portal (Please keep it safe, as the username and password will be required to download the admit cards and results in the future)
- Next, visit the starting page once again, and now click on the ‘Login Form’ button
- Enter your username & password to log in and fill out the remaining details and then pay the application fees
- Lastly, submit your form and download it for further references
Application Fees
The application/ examination fees for the CEE 2022 for admission into B.Sc Nursing and D.Pharm programmes are to be paid online through the SBI payment gateway available on the online application page and the University website. A candidate is required to pay an amount of One Thousand and Two Hundred, i.e. Rs. 1,200/- as an application fee. However, the above examination fee is exempted for the PwD (Divyang) category of candidates.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Here are a few important points to note about the entrance examination (CEE 2022) for admission into B.Sc Nursing and D. Pharm programme:
- The question papers shall be of 10+2 standard and shall consist of:
- Paper I: 100 questions (50 from Physics and 50 from Chemistry)
- Paper II: 50 questions (25 from Zoology & 25 from Botany)
- Paper III: 50 questions from Mathematics
- If the candidate is willing to get admission in the B.Sc Nursing course, they have to appear in Paper-I and Paper-II.
- If the candidate is willing to get admission in the D.Pharm course, they must appear in Paper-I and choose anyone from Paper-II and Paper-III.
- Also, the candidates willing to get admission in the D.Pharm course can seat in both Paper II and III, and the subject with the highest marks will be considered during the preparation of the merit lists.
- Alternatively, a candidate can also apply for both the B.Sc Nursing and D.Pharm Examination in the same arrangement and with a single examination fee.
- The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every correct answer.
- There will be no negative marking for the incorrect answers.
Exam Centres
The candidates can appear in CEE 2022 in any of the following 8 examination centres in Assam. They can choose any one of these cities as their preferred examination centre while filling out the application forms.

- Silchar
- Jorhat
- Barpeta
- Tezpur
- Lakhimpur
- Diphu
Selection Procedure
The candidates for admission into B.Sc Nursing and D.Pharm programmes will be selected purely on the basis of candidates’ performance in CEE 2022. SSUHS will prepare separate Merit lists for both the courses as per the following criteria:
- For admission into B.Sc Nursing, the merit list will be prepared based on the total marks obtained by each candidate in all the subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- If two or more candidates secure the same marks, the preference will be given to:
- Candidates who secure more marks in Biology in CEE 2022
- Then candidates who secure more marks in Chemistry will be considered
- And if it further tallies then marks obtained in Biology, then Chemistry, then Physics of the qualifying examination shall be considered at the time of counseling
- The above-mentioned criteria will remain the same for D.Pharm admission. However, out of the individual marks obtained by the candidates in Biology and Mathematics in CEE 2022, only marks in one subject whichever is more shall be counted (i.e. PCB or PCM) for preparing a merit list.
