CLAT 2022: Consortium of NLUs revises exam date, deadline for online application extended
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has announced the new dates for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022. The UG-CLAT is for students who have completed their Class 12 studies and want to pursue a career in law. The candidates who have completed their undergraduate studies in law i.e. LLB or are in the final year can apply for CLAT-LLM.

Revised Exam Date & Application Deadline
Earlier, the exam was supposed to happen on the 8th of May. And now, as per the revised date of the CLAT 2022, examinations will be conducted on the 19th of June, 2022 from 2 pm to 4 pm. The examination is on the same day for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The registration date has also been extended up to the 19th of May from the 31st of March. Candidates are advised to check the website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in for regular updates.
CLAT 2022 : Exam Pattern
The pattern of the exam has also been conveyed. The PG exam contains a total of 120 questions whereas the UG exam contains 150 questions. The questions are divided into 5 sections which are: Quantitative Techniques which contain basic mathematics and data analysis, English, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, and Logical Reasoning. Correct answers are awarded one mark whilst an incorrect answer amounts to a deduction of 0.25 mark.

CLAT 2023
The consortium of NLUs has also announced that there will be two tests in the year 2022. And CLAT-2023 will be held on 18th December 2022. They have also reduced the counselling fee from Rs 50,000 to Rs 30,000 for candidates from the unreserved category. For reserved category students, the fee will be Rs 20,000.
