RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is now recruiting eligible candidates for various Officer Grade-B posts. The recruitment drive is organized against the total number of 94 vacant posts. The registration started on 27th July 2024 and will last till 16th August 2024. The selected candidates from the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 drive will draw a starting basic pay and allowances as follows:

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

To sit for the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 examination a candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be the age of 30 years as of July 01, 2024, i.e., he/ she must have been born not earlier than July 02, 1994 and not later than July 01, 2003.

Educational Qualification

(i) For Officer Gr. B (DR) – General:  

• A candidate must be a graduate in any discipline/ Equivalent technical or professional qualification with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ PwBD applicants) or Post-Graduation in any discipline/ Equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum of 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ ST/ PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters/ years.

(ii) For Officer Gr. B (DR) – DEPR:

• A candidate should have a Master’s Degree in Economics (or any other master’s degree where “Economics” is the principal constituent of the curriculum/ syllabus, namely MA/ MSc in Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Financial Economics, Business Economics, Agricultural Economics, Industrial Economics).
• A candidate should have a Master’s Degree in Finance (or any other master’s degree where “Finance” is the principal constituent of the curriculum/ syllabus, namely MA/ MSc in Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Quantitative Techniques, International Finance, Business Finance, Banking and Trade Finance, International and Trade Finance, Project and Infrastructure Finance, Agri Business Finance).
• For the above, a minimum of 55 percent marks or an equivalent grade is required in aggregate of all semesters/ years from a recognized Indian or foreign University/ Institute.
• “Principal constituent” with respect to syllabus/ curriculum means half or more of the total courses/ electives/ credits must be in Economics or Finance.

(iii) For Officer in Gr B (DR) – DSIM:

• A candidate should have a Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics and Informatics/ Applied Statistics and Informatics with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years.
• A candidate should have a Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years and a one-year postgraduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an Institute of repute.
• A candidate should have a Master’s degree course in Data Science/ Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/ Big Data Analytics, with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years from a recognized University/ Institute, an institute of national importance, UGC/ AICTE approved programme.
• A candidate should have a Four-year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years in Data Science/ AI/ ML/ Big Data Analytics from a recognized University/ Institute, an institute of national importance, UGC/ AICTE approved programme.
• A candidate should have a two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years from a recognized University/ Institute, an institute of national importance, UGC/ AICTE-approved programme.

Documents Required

• Class-X/ Class-XlI Examination, Admit Card/ Pass Certificate/ Marksheet issued by Central/ State Board indicating Date of Birth in support of their claim of age
• Certificates of HSLC to Graduation document
• Diploma/ Certificate in Computer Application (if Applicable)
• Caste certificate (if Applicable)
• Self Declaration
• Valid ID

• At the first onset, they must register in the Online Recruitment Portal using their name, email, phone number, and other information as required

• After completing these steps, preview all the information entered and submit the form
