CMAT 2025: Application process started, check eligibility criteria, dates & steps to register

CMAT 2025: The National Test Agency (NTA) has started the registration process for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT). This national entrance exam for management programs throughout the country assists participating institutions affiliated with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in selecting acceptable graduate candidates for admission to their Management Programs.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates meeting the following requirements are eligible to apply for CMAT 2025.

• The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
• Candidates appearing for the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree, whose results will be declared before the commencement of admission for the academic year 2025-26, can also apply for CMAT 2025.
• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• There is no age restriction for appearing in CMAT 2025.

Scheme of Examination

• CMAT 2025 will be a three-hour computer-based online test 
• The medium of the Question Paper shall be in English only
• Each question carries 04 (four) marks; for each incorrect response, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total score.

Steps to Register

1. Visit the official website of CMAT, which is linked below.
2. Click on the ‘Registration for CMAT 2025’ link on the homepage.
3. You will be directed to a new webpage Click on ‘New Registration’
4. Enter your details and register.
5. Put the details in your registered credentials and login.
6. Fill up the application form and upload the required documents
7. Submit the form and pay the application fee
8. Download and save the confirmation page.
