Pay Scale
- For the post of Scientist Group IV (2) position under the CSIR-NIScPR Recruitment 2025, the employees will be paid according to the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix.
- The basic pay is ₹67,700, which increases with annual increments of 3%.
- Apart from this, the employees will also receive –

Eligibility
To apply for the CSIR-NIScPR Recruitment 2025, the candidates must ensure their eligibility as per the criteria given below –
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen
- As per the post requirement, the educational qualification of the candidate must be either Ph.D./M.Tech./B.Tech./M.Sc. with minimum 60% aggregate (or 1st Class)
- The maximum age limit is 32 years for the general category.
- Age relaxations for the following categories –
- For SC/ ST: +5 years
- For OBC(NCL): +3 years
- PwBD (Persons with Disabilities – General): +10 years
- PwBD (OBC-NCL): +13 years
- PwBD (SC/ ST): +15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per government rules
- Widows/ Divorced Women: Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ ST)
- Age relaxations for the following categories –
- Candidates with experience in the particular field are preferable. However, it is not mandatory for fresh Ph.D holders.
- In case a candidate holds a foreign degree, an AIU Equivalency Certificate must be produced to the authorities of CSIR-NIScPR Recruitment 2025.
Selection Procedure
- A screening committee will review all applications after the last date of submission of application.
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility criteria, academic qualifications, research experience, and publications.
- Shortlisted candidates will receive email notifications for the call for the next stage, and the list may also be published on the official NIScPR website.
- The next stage may involve either a direct interview or a combination of a written test and interview, depending upon the number of applications.
