Dibrugarh University PhD admission 2025: The Dibrugarh University (DU) has released a notification inviting online applications from eligible candidates for admission to various PhD programs offered by Departments/ Centres for the academic session 2025.

Recently, the result of DURAT 2024 was released. The candidates who have appeared in the Dibrugarh University PhD entrance test and other candidates, who have cleared national level entrance test are also able to apply for Dibrugarh University PhD admission 2025. Ph.D. offering Departments/ Centres

Eligibility

Candidates applying under Dibrugarh University PhD admission 2025 must have fulfilled following eligibility criteria:

• Candidates must have completed Post Graduation
• Candidates must have appeared in DURAT 2024 OR have qualified the CSIR/ UGC NET and/or having research fellowship from National level Government/ Semi Government funding agencies and/or have passed M.Phil. programme (in regular mode and in the concerned subject)

Selection Procedure

The selection of the students for the Dibrugarh University PhD admission 2025 will occur through the Viva Voce/ Interview process. The details of the selection process is given below:

For DURAT 2024 appearing candidates

There shall be a Viva Voce Examination for the candidates as per the following details:

1. The Viva Voce will carry a weightage of 30%.
2. The DURAT 2024 score will carry the weightage of 70%.

For DURAT 2024 exempted candidates

The Viva Voce will carry a weightage of 100%. This means that their performance in the Viva Voce will be the sole determinant of their assessment.

How to apply?

• Visit the official website of Dibrugarh University PhD admission 2025 using the link given below
• Now, click on the button saying “New User/ Register”
• Those applicants who have appeared in DURAT 2024 applicants shall have to login using the same Mobile Number and Password provided during online application for DURAT 2024
• Register yourself by entering basic details
• After registration, login using the registered credentials
• Enter all your personal and educational details and complete the form
• Upload the necessary images/ documents and pay the fee using any one of the available options
• Lastly, submit the application form for Dibrugarh University PhD admission 2025 and download it along with the payment receipt for future reference
• The applicants need to submit the Print-Copy of the application in the given format along with the following self-attested documents at the Office of the Department/ Centre of Studies concerned where they wish to apply for the Ph.D. Programme. The documents need to reach the concerned department on or before 20th December, 2024. The list of documents are given below –
  • Copy of the Award Letter (in case of CSIR/ UGC NET qualified candidates and/or candidates having research fellowship from ‘National level Government/ Semi Government funding agencies)
  • M.Phil. Pass Certificate and Marksheet (in case of M.Phil. qualified candidates)
  • Copies of the Pass Certificate and Mark Sheets from HSLC to Master’s Degree
  • Caste Certificate [in case the Candidate belongs to SC/ ST and OBC/ MOBC (Non-Creamy layer)] or Certificates related to PWD and EWS
  • No Objection Certificate (in case the Candidate is employed)

Application Fees

The candidates applying for Dibrugarh University PhD admission 2025 will have to make payment of Rs. 950/- only through the online payment gateway by using Debit (ATM) Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking. No other mode of payment is acceptable.
