SSC MTS & Havaldar Exam 2023: The Staff Selection Commission or SSC has recently released the admit cards for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) Examination, 2023. The recruitment drive is conducted against approximately 1558 posts under the Government of India. - Enter your respective registration ID or roll number and date of birth
- Click on the “Click To Know the Status & Admit Card” link and download
- Take a printout copy of the same for future reference

Selection Procedure
- The recruitment process of SSC MTS & Havaldar will consist of a Computer-Based Examination. For the post of Havaldar, there will also be a Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST).
- The examination for SSC MTS and Havaldar Recruitment will be conducted in Hindi, English, and in 13 regional languages viz. Assamese, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Odia, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telegu.
- Computer-Based Examination will be conducted in two Sessions: Session-I and Session-II, on the same day and both Sessions will be mandatory to be attempted. And not attempting any session will disqualify the candidate.
- The candidates will get 45 minutes each to complete Session I and Session II of SSC MTS and Havaldar Recruitment Examination.

Syllabus for Computer-Based Examination
- Numerical and Mathematical Ability: It will include questions on problems relating to Integers and Whole Numbers, LCM and HCF, Decimals and Fractions, Relationship between numbers, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations and BODMAS, Percentage, Ratio and Proportions, Work and Time, Direct and inverse Proportions, Averages, Simple Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Area and Perimeter of Basic Geometric Figures, Distance and Time, Lines and Angles, Interpretation of simple Graphs and Data, Square and Square roots etc.
- Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving: The questions in this part intend to measure the candidates’ general learning ability. The questions will be broadly based on the Alpha-Numeric Series, Coding and Decoding, Analogy, Following Directions, Similarities and Differences, Jumbling, Problem Solving and Analysis, Non-verbal Reasoning based on diagrams, Age Calculations, Calendar and Clock, etc.
- General Awareness: The broad coverage of the test will be on Social Studies (History, Geography, Art and Culture, Civics, Economics), General Science and Environmental studies up to 10th Standard.
- English Language and Comprehension: Candidates’ understanding of the basics of the English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and correct usage, etc. and to test comprehension, a simple paragraph may be given and question-based on the paragraph to be asked.
- For VH candidates of 40% and above visual disability, there will be no component of Maps/ Graphs/ Diagrams/ Statistical Data in the Paper of SSC MTS and Havaldar Recruitment.
Physical Efficiency Test
Walking:
- Male: 1600 meters in 15 minutes
- Female: 1 Km in 20 minutes
Physical Standard Test
- Male:
- Height: 157.5 cm (relaxable by 5 cm in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, and members of Schedule Tribes)
- Chest: 81 cm (fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cm)
- Female:
- Height: 152 cm (relaxable by 2.5 cm in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, and members of Schedule Tribes)
- Weight: 48 kg (relaxable by 2 Kg in the case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas, and members of Schedule Tribes)
