IB ACIO Recruitment 2025: The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, invites online applications for the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade–II/ Executive (ACIO-II/ Exe) Examination 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill 3,717 vacancies across various categories for the post of ACIO-II/Exe. Pay Scale
The post of ACIO-II/Exe advertised under IB ACIO Recruitment 2025 falls under Level 7 of the pay matrix with a pay scale of ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400, along with admissible Central Government allowances. Additionally, candidates will receive a Special Security Allowance equal to 20% of the basic pay and cash compensation for duty performed on holidays up to a ceiling of 30 days.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- 18-27 years as on 10th August 2025.
- Relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Departmental candidates with 3 years of continuous service can avail of relaxation up to 40 years.
- Widows, divorced women, and judicially separated women can avail relaxation up to 35 years (UR), 38 years (OBC), and 40 years (SC/ST).
- Age relaxation applies to ex-servicemen as per government rules.
- Meritorious sportspersons can get up to 5 years’ relaxation, subject to prescribed certificates.
Educational Criteria
- Candidate must possess Graduation or its equivalent degree from a recognized university by the closing date (10th August 2025).
- Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of computers is preferred for IB ACIO Recruitment 2025.
Selection Process of IB ACIO Recruitment
- Stage 1: Tier-I Exam (Objective type MCQs).
- Stage 2: Tier-II Exam (Descriptive type paper).
- Stage 3: Tier-III (Interview).
- Final merit list will be based on the combined performance in Tier-I, Tier-II, and Tier-III.
- Selected candidates will undergo Character & Antecedent verification and Medical Examination before appointment.

- After this, login to the application portal
