IBPS RRB 2023 recruitment for PO and Clerks, last Date extended to 28th June; apply now

IBPS RRB 2023: IPBS recently released a notification informing the online examinations for the next Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (CRP RRBs XII) for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”- Office Assistant (Multipurpose). The examination will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in August and September 2023. The interviews for recruitment of Group “A”- Officers (Scale-I, II & III) under the same process will be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authorities tentatively in the month of November 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS RRB 2023

Citizenship

To apply for IBPS RRB 2023 Recruitment a candidate must be

1. A Citizen of India or
2. A subject of Nepal or
3. A subject of Bhutan or
4. A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2,3,4 & 5 above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

• Age: Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.06.1995 and later than 01.06.2005 (both dates inclusive)
• Educational Qualification:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent
  2. Proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating RRB
• Desirable: Working knowledge of Computers

Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)

• Age: Above 18 years – Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1993 and later than 31.05.2005 (both dates inclusive)
• Educational Qualification:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent Preference will be given to the candidates having degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy;
  2. Proficiency in the local language as prescribed by the participating RRB
• Desirable: Working knowledge of Computers

Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager)

• Age: Above 21 years – Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1991 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degrees in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy.
• Post Qualification Experience: Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager)

Age: To apply for IBPS RRB 2023 Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager) the candidate must be above 21 years – Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1991 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)

Information Technology Officer

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP, etc.
• Post-Qualification Experience: One year (in the relevant field)

Chartered Accountant

• Educational Qualification: Certified Associate (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
• Post Qualification Experience: One Year as a Chartered Accountant.

Law Officer

• Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
• Post-Qualification Experience: Two years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period of not less than two years

Treasury Manager

• Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution
• Post-Qualification Experience: One Year (in the relevant field)

Marketing Officer

• Educational Qualification: MBA in Marketing from a recognized university
• Post-Qualification Experience: One Year (in the relevant field)

Agricultural Officer

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
• Post-Qualification Experience: Two Years (in the relevant field)

Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)

• Age: Above 21 years – Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1983 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having a Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
• Post-Qualification Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution

Selection Procedure of IBPS RRB 2023

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

• First, the candidates will need to appear in the Preliminary examination of IBPS RRB 2023.
• After clearing the cut-off of the preliminary examination of IBPS RRB 2023 candidates will be able to appear in the Mains Examination.

Officer Scale I

• First, the candidates will need to appear in the Preliminary examination of IBPS RRB 2023.
• After clearing the cut-off of the preliminary examination of IBPS RRB 2023 candidates will be able to appear in the Mains Examination.
• Then the candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the Mains Examination of IBPS RRB 2023.
• The shortlisted candidates will subsequently be called for an Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the help of NABARD and IBPS.

Officer Scale II & III

• Candidates will have to appear in a single-level objective examination.
• Based on the single level examination candidates will be shortlisted.
• The shortlisted candidates will then subsequently be called for an Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the help of NABARD and IBPS.

• Search for the Important Web-Links section
• There, click on the link that reads, “Online Application”
• Proceed to register yourself with the required necessaries
• After this, candidates will now have to log in using their respective credentials
• Here, fill out the online application form with all the essential details and upload the required documents
• Finishing this, proceed to the payment section, and pay the fee amount through any one of the available options
• And submit the online application form
• Take a printout copy of the application form and payment receipt for future reference

Pre-Examination Training (PET) for IBPS RRB 2023

Note- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, for the safety of the candidates, PET during this period may not be held.

Pre-Examination Training may be arranged by the Regional Rural Banks to a limited number of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward Classes/ Minority Communities/ Ex-Servicemen/ Persons With Benchmark Disabilities for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward Classes/ Minority Communities for the Post of Officer Scale-I at some centers.

All eligible candidates who wish to avail of Pre-Examination Training should fill in the relevant column in the ON-LINE APPLICATION. All expenses regarding traveling, boarding, lodging etc. will have to be borne by the Candidate for attending the Pre-Examination Training programme at the designated Centers. IBPS, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Pre- Examination Training Centers and/ or add some other Centers and/ or make alternate arrangements, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.
