The Indian Overseas Bank has recently released a notification inviting online applications from eligible candidates for the apprentice posts for one year. In the notification of Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2025, authorities have informed that they are looking to recruit a total of 750 candidates and engage them as apprentices, under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and as per the Apprenticeship Policy of our Bank.

Stipends
The candidates selected as apprentices will be paid a stipend for the contract period of one year as detailed below-

Eligibility
Age limit
The applicants must be 20 to 28 years of age i.e. the candidate must be born between 1st August 1997 and 1st August 2005. Also, there are certain age relaxations for reserved categories as shown below-
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years
- Widows, divorced women, and women who legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried have the age limit as
- 35 years for General/ EWS,
- 38 years for OBC and
- 40 years for SC/ ST
Educational Qualification
The applicants for Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2025 must be graduates from a University/ Institute recognized or they should possess any equivalent qualifications recognized by the government of India.
Selection Process
The Selection process of Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2025 consists of two stages, an Online Examination & test of the local language.
Online Written Test
The online written examination will be of objective type and the structure is as follows:

The total duration of the examination will be 90 minutes. All applicants must take the online examination on the given date and time using their camera-enabled desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
Test of Local Language
The test of the local language will be conducted after qualifying for the online written examination. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

Note: Before following the steps mentioned below, all the applicants need to register themselves in the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) and have their NATS enrollment number.
- Visit the application portal of the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) by clicking on the link given below
- Then get yourself registered on the portal ”by visiting the “Career Opportunities” page
- Once the registration process is completed, log in to the portal
- Now, fill out the application form with personal and educational details
- Upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format
- Then proceed to the payment section and pay the applicable fees
- Lastly, submit the form for Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2025 and download it along with the payment receipt for future reference
