Eligibility
Nationality

Educational Qualification

Manager – Branch Management (Post Code 01)
- Candidates need a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Officer in any Scheduled Public Sector or Private Sector Bank is required, of which at least 2 years must be in Branch Banking.
- Experience as a Scale I Branch Head will be preferred. Selected candidates will serve a probation period of 6 months and will be posted as Branch Head on completion of probation.
Manager – IT (Post Code 02)
- Candidates need a B.E./ B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Instrumentation, or an MCA, or an M.Sc. in Computer Science/ IT.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification IT experience is required, including at least 3 years in a Banking/ BFSI environment, along with hands-on experience in at least one specialised technology domain such as Full Stack Development, Operating System Administration, Network Administration, Cloud Engineering, Storage Administration, Database Administration, IAM, Automation Engineering, ITSM, BCP/ DR, Virtualization, DevOps, DevSecOps, Middleware Administration or IT Procurement. Professional certifications such as OCA/ OCP, RHCE/ RHCSA, CCNA/ CCNP, AWS, Azure, CKA, CISSP or CEH are desirable.
Manager – Information Security (Post Code 03)
- Candidates applying under Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2026 need a B.E./ B.Tech or M.E./ M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, Cyber Security or Information Security.
- A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience is required in at least three of the following: Web Application Security Testing, Mobile Application Security Testing, API Security Assessment, Source Code Review, Dynamic Application Security Testing, AI/ LLM security testing and Red Team activities. Experience in BFSI, FinTech or regulated sectors is preferred, along with certifications such as OSCP, GIAC, eJPT or CompTIA Security.
Manager – IS Audit (Post Code 04)
- Candidates need a B.E./ B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication or Cyber Security, or an M.E./ M.Tech in similar disciplines/ MCA.
- Eligible candidates need either a minimum of 2 years of experience with at least 1 year in Information Security/ IS Audit/ Cyber Security Audit in Banking/ BFSI, or 2 years of IT experience with substantial experience in software design and development for banking applications following Secure by Design principles.
Senior Manager – IT (Post Code 05)
- Candidates need a B.E./ B.Tech (CS/ IT/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation), MCA or M.Sc. (Computer Science/ IT).
- A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification IT experience is required, including at least 5 years in Banking/ BFSI, with hands-on experience in the same specialised technology domains listed for the Manager – IT post, along with experience managing mission-critical production systems. Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001:LA or OSCP are mandatory, with CEH and Cloud Security certifications preferred.
Senior Manager – Information Security (Post Code 06)
- Candidates need a B.E./ B.Tech or M.E./ M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, Cyber Security or Information Security.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience is required in at least three of the same security domains listed for Post Code 03, with preference for BFSI/ FinTech experience and certifications such as CISSP, OSCP or GIAC.
Senior Manager – IS Audit (Post Code 07)

- A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification Database Administration experience is required, of which at least 5 years in Production Database Administration and 3 years in Banking/ BFSI supporting mission-critical applications, covering Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server administration, performance optimisation, incident management, capacity planning and backup/ recovery. An OCA or OCP certification is mandatory.
Senior Manager – Network Administrator (Post Code 09)
- Candidates need a B.E./ B.Tech, M.Tech or MCA in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Instrumentation.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in Network Operations is required, including Network Security using Cisco FTD and Checkpoint Firewalls, along with expertise in Enterprise Network Architecture and Routing and Switching. A CCNA (Routing & Switching/ Security) or Checkpoint (CCSE) certification is mandatory.
Senior Manager – Cyber Security Administrator (Post Code 10)
- Candidates need a B.E./ B.Tech or M.E./ M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, Cyber Security or Information Security.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience is required in at least two of the following domains: Forensic Analysis/ Incident Response, SIEM/ XDR, Web Application/ API Security, IAM/ AD/ PAM, AI Security and Network Security. Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CCNP-Security or CCIE are preferred.
Manager – Credit (Post Code 11)
- Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree with a Post Graduation in MBA (Finance)/ PGDBA/ PGDBM/ Master of Management Studies (Finance), or a CA, or a CMA qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification work experience in a Bank/ Financial Institution is required, of which at least 2 years must be in the credit domain. Experience in handling MSME/ Corporate Advances is preferred.
Senior Manager – Credit (Post Code 12)

Assistant Manager – Security (Post Code 14)
- Candidates applying under Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2026 need a graduate degree from a recognized university along with a certification course (minimum 3 months) in Computer/ IT or Computer Science. Applicants should be a retired Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of service in the Army/ Navy/ Air Force, or a Police/ Paramilitary Officer of Inspector rank and above with a minimum of 5 years’ service as Sub Inspector and above.
- Candidates should be in SHAPE-1 medical category or equivalent, with an exemplary service record free of disciplinary or vigilance cases.
Selection Process

- Note: There is no minimum qualifying mark for the General Awareness and English Language sections, but candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in the Professional Knowledge section — 30% for reserved category candidates and 35% for unreserved candidates.
- A penalty of 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The minimum qualifying marks for the Interview are 50% for unreserved and 45% for reserved category candidates.
