JEE Mains 2022 Session-2 registration process is now open, Check out the steps to register

The National Testing Agency is inviting applications for Session 2 of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) for the year 2022. NTA on the 1st of June, 2022 announced the commencement of the online application procedures. And interested candidates can now apply for JEE Mains 2022 by visiting the official website, they will have time till the 30th of June, 2022.

The recent notification issued is a continuation of the Public Notice which was issued on the 1st of March, 2022. Candidates are advised to regularly keep an eye on the new notifications and updates regarding the JEE Mains 2022 examination.

JEE Mains 2022: Steps to apply?

Candidates who wish to appear for session 2 of the JEE Mains 2022, can follow the steps provided below to register themselves.

• First of all, a candidate should go to the official website
• Then scroll down and click on the link that reads, “Session 2 (two) Registration for JEE (MAIN) 2022”
• Clicking on the link will redirect the candidate to a new page, if the candidate has not registered before, she or he has to choose the “New Registration” button and fill up the registration form
• Once the candidate gets registered, then they can go for the second option, which is to ‘sign in’
• now, fill up the online application form carefully and then upload all the necessary documents as per the provided norms
• Completing this step will take the candidate to the next step, that is the payment of the application fee, where candidates can opt for any of the provided payment methods to make the payment
• After successful completion of all the steps, candidates are advised to download and keep the application form and payment receipt for future references

Key Dates

• Starting of application forms – 01 June 2022
• Ending of application forms – 30 June 2022 (up to 09:00 PM)
• Last date of Fee payment – 30 June 2022 (up to 11:50 PM)
• Examination dates- 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30 July, 2022

Points to be Noted

Here are a few additional points mentioned on the official notice, that every candidate of JEE Mains 2022 should know about:

1. The candidates who have applied and successfully paid the Examination Fee for JEE Mains 2022 Session 1 and want to appear for JEE Mains 2022 Session 2 must log in with their previous Application Number and Password as provided in Session 1.
2. Existing candidates i.e. candidates who have already registered in Session 1 and have paid the relevant fees for Session 2 are allowed to opt for the following:
   • For Course (Paper)
   • Medium of Question Paper
   • Examination Cities
   • Fee Payment
3. For new candidates, the process for registration and application form filling in Session 2 will remain the same as followed in Session 1 (i.e. not registered including Fee not paid for Session 1).
