JNVST 2025 Admit Cards: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has officially released the admit cards for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2025. This test will be conducted for Class 6 admissions in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) for the academic session 2025-26. Candidates who have applied can now download their admit cards from the official website. The JNVST 2025 for summer-bound schools will be conducted on January 18, 2025.

Steps to Download JNVST 2025 Admit Cards
- Visit the official NVS website or use the direct link provided in the “Important Links” section below.
- Enter your registration number (obtained during the application process).
- Provide your date of birth in the dd/mm/yyyy format.
- Complete the captcha verification (usually a mathematical expression).
- Download the admit card and take a printout for future reference.
JNVST 2025 Exam Details
The JNVST 2025 for Class 6 admissions will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, starting at 11:30 AM for summer-bound JNVs across the following states and Union Territories:
- States: Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh (excluding certain districts), Jammu & Kashmir (specific regions), Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal (excluding Darjeeling).
- Union Territories: Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu, Delhi, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry.
Later, on April 12, 2025, JNVST 2025 will be conducted for winter-bound JNVs, including regions in Jammu & Kashmir, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and select districts in Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, and Ladakh.
JNVST 2025 Exam Pattern
The JNVST 2025 comprises 80 objective-type questions for a total of 100 marks, divided into three sections:

- Total Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours)
- Additional Time for Differently-Abled Students: 40 minutes
- Answer Mode: Candidates must use an OMR sheet with a blue or black ballpoint pen. Use of other pens or correction tools is prohibited.
- Scoring: Each correct answer earns 1.25 marks. There is no negative marking.

1. Mental Ability Test (MAT)
This section assesses reasoning skills through diagram-based questions divided into 10 types:
- Odd Man Out
- Figure Matching
- Pattern Completion
- Figure Series Completion
- Analogy
- Geometrical Figure Completion (Triangle, Square, Circle, etc.)
- Mirror Imaging
- Punched Hole Pattern (Folding/Unfolding)
- Space Visualization
- Embedded Figure
2. Arithmetic Test
This section evaluates basic mathematical competencies, covering topics like:
- Number and numeric system
- Four fundamental operations on the whole number
- Fractional numbers and four fundamental operations on them
- Factors and multiples including their properties
- LCM and HCF of numbers
- Decimals and fundamental operations on them
- Conversion of fractions to decimals and vice-versa
- Measurement of length, mass, capacity, time, money, etc
- Distance, time, and speed
- Approximation of expressions
- Simplification of Numerical Expressions
- Percentage and its applications
- Profit and loss
- Simple interest
- Perimeter, area, and volume
3. Language Test
The third and last section of the paper is to assess the reading comprehension of the candidates. This section will have 4 passages and 5 questions with each passage, that is 20 questions in total. Candidates will need to read the passages given and find out the answers to the questions given along with them.
