Exam Pattern for LIC AAO 2025
LIC AAO 2025 Prelims & Mains consists of two phases. The exam pattern is as follows:
- Phase 1 or Preliminary Examination – Objective type exam (Online Mode). Candidates equal to 20 times the number of vacancies in each category, subject to availability, will be shortlisted for the Mains examination.
- Phase 2 or Mains Examination – Objective Descriptive Exam (Both Online Mode). A descriptive Exam will be a qualifying.
- Marks of English will not be counted for ranking in both Phase 1 and Phase 2
- To qualify for the online examinations (preliminary and main) and the interview, the candidate MUST pass each section separately and obtain minimum marks in the aggregate.
- Marks obtained in the Main Examination will only be considered for shortlisting for the interview, and marks obtained in the Main Examination + marks obtained in the interview will be considered for the final merit listing of candidates.
- After the interview, candidates will also be called for a medical examination. As per the rules, only medically fit candidates will be considered for the final appointment.
