NICL Recruitment 2024: The National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for available vacant Assistant (Class III) posts. The NICL Recruitment 2024 drive is being conducted against 500 vacancies. Interested candidates may apply online before the 11th of November, 2024.

Out of 500 seats, 158 posts are available for all categories under PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, Disable Ex-Servicemen, Dependents of Servicemen killed in Action.

Emoluments & Benefits

  • All the hired 500 Officers will get a Basic pay of Rs 22,405- Rs 62,265 and other admissible allowance as applicable.
  • Gross emoluments will be approximately Rs 39,000/- per month in the initial stage in a Metro city.
  • Other Allowance may vary depending upon the place of posting. Apart from allowances, other benefits such as Lump sum Domiciliary Medical Benefits, Membership of Group Mediclaim Policy for Reimbursement of Hospitalization expenses, Leave Travel Subsidy and other Staff welfare schemes would be as per the rules of the Company.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

As of 01.10.2024, the candidate’s minimum age is 21 years; the Maximum Age is 30 years (as of 01.10.2024). Candidates born not earlier than 02.10.1994 and not later than 01.10.2003 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply to be eligible for the NICL Recruitment 2024.

Educational Qualification (as of 01.10.2024)

  • A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the central government.
  • Candidate should possess a certificate as proof of passing the qualifying examination as of 01.10.2024.
  • The knowledge of Reading, Writing and Speaking of Regional Language of the State/ UT against the vacancies for which a candidate wishes to apply, is essential.
  • To ascertain the candidate’s familiarity with the Regional Language of the State/ UT, a Regional Language Test will be conducted before final selection.
  • Candidates not found to be proficient in the Regional Language Test would be disqualified.

NICL Recruitment 2024: How to apply?

  • Visit the official portal for NICL Recruitment 2024 by visiting the link given below
  • To get registered first, click on the link that reads, “Click here for New Registration”
  • Then, click on the “APPLY ONLINE” link to fill out the application form
  • Enter all your personal and educational details
  • Upload the necessary documents
  • Make the payment using the available services
  • Lastly, submit the form and take a printout of the e-receipt and online application for future reference

All candidates other than SC/ ST/ PwBDRs. 850/- (inclusive of GST) (Application fee including intimation charges)

Selection Procedure

All candidates applying for NICL recruitment 2024 will have to appear for the online Preliminary & Main examination, thereafter; candidates qualifying the Main examination will be further shortlisted for the Regional Language Test.

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Online)

Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests (Multiple Choice type Questions) for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 60 minutes duration consisting of 3 sections (with separate timings for each section). These sections will have 20 minutes each. The details are given as follows:

Phase-II: Preliminary Examination (Online)

The main Examination will consist of Objective Tests (Multiple Choice type Questions) for 200 marks. The duration of the examination will be 120 minutes duration (separate time for each test/ section or composite time). The first three sections will have 30 minutes (Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability) and the other two sections will consist of 15 minutes (Test of General Awareness, Test of Computer Knowledge).
