Eligibility Criteria
Professor of Law
Eligibility is divided into two categories:
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline; minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals; total research score of 120; minimum 10 years teaching/research experience; evidence of doctoral guidance.
- Outstanding professional with Ph.D. from academic institutions or industry, significant contributions to knowledge, and 10 years of experience.
Associate Professor of Law
- Ph.D. in concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline.
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- Minimum 8 years teaching/ research experience; minimum 7 publications; total research score of 75.
Assistant Professor of Law
- Master’s degree with 55% marks or equivalent (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD).
- Cleared NET/ CSIR/ UGC-accredited test or awarded Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations.
- Ph.D. candidates registered prior to July 11, 2009 must meet specific conditions related to the thesis and publications for exemption from NET/ SLET/ SET.
Assistant Professor of Political Science
- Master’s degree with 55% marks or equivalent (5% relaxation for reserved categories).
- Cleared NET/ SLET/ SET or awarded Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations.
- The Ph.D. degree from a foreign university ranked in top 500 in QS, THE, or ARWU is also acceptable.
Selection Process
