Pay Scale
The shortlisted candidates for the NTPC Recruitment 2024 will avail of a pay scale of Rs. 30000-120000 (E0 Grade/ IDA).
Eligibility Criteria
- Application is open exclusively to Indian Nationals.
- Upper Age Limit: 45 years
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and for Ex-Servicemen, age relaxation will be as per Government guidelines.
- Educational Qualification: Full time engineering degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Civil/ Production/ Chemical/ Construction/ Instrumentation from a recognized institute with minimum 60% marks, with Diploma/ Advance Diploma/ PG Diploma in Industrial Safety from Central Labour Institute/ Regional Labour Institute, Govt. of India

- Certificate or Marksheet of Class 10th as a proof of name and Date of Birth
- Aadhaar Card
- PAN Card
- Consolidated Marksheet/ Transcript or all semester marksheets of engineering degree and certificate indicating aggregate percentage of marks in all semesters
- Marks conversion formula from university/ institute for conversion of CGPA/ CGPI/ DGPA/ CGI/ CPI into percentage
- Final year or Consolidated Marksheet/ Transcript of Safety Diploma indicating aggregate percentage of marks
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- OBC-NCL certificate in central format for the current financial year (FY 2024-25)
- EWS certificate (Income & Asset Certificate) valid for FY 2024-25 based on income of FY 2023-24

Selection Procedure
- The selection procedure for NTPC Recruitment 2024 will depend on the quality and quantity of applications received.
- To limit the number of candidates, if necessary, the management reserves the right to implement a multi-stage selection process. This may include application shortlisting or screening (based on qualifications, percentage of marks, etc.), a written or computer-based test, a personal interview, or a combination of these methods as deemed appropriate.
