Registration starts for Gauhati University 1st sem students; the last date on 20th January

The registration process for all the new students of Gauhati University (both Undergraduate & Postgraduate) who have taken admission in GU in the Academic Session 2021-22 is now started. The 1st-semester students belonging to the PG and UG courses can now register on the official website of Gauhati University. The registration process is to continue till the 20th of January, 2022.

Categories of students requiring Registrations

1. All undergraduate students of all disciplines who have taken admission in the session 2021-22
   in all affiliated colleges of GU, institutes affiliated to GU, academic departments of GU, and
   constituent colleges of GU.
2. All postgraduate students of all disciplines who have taken admission in the session 2021-22
   in all affiliated colleges of GU, institutes affiliated to GU, academic departments of GU, and
   constituent colleges of GU, who were NOT a GU students earlier.

Steps for GU registrations

1. Visit the IUMS of Gauhati University, click here.
2. Click on the second tab, saying – New Student Registration & Login
3. Fill up the given form with all your details and register yourselves.

Important Dates for Gauhati University Registrations

As per the official notification, the dates are final for the submission of the registration form. There are no extension dates for the completion of the process.
