Salary

Eligibility Criteria of RRB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026

Age Limit

Candidates applying for RRB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026 must be 18 to 33 years of age as on 1st January 2027. The age limits are applicable as per the category-wise provisions in the notification.

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Maximum age for UR/EWS: 33 years
  • OBC-NCL: Upper age relaxation as prescribed in the notification
  • SC/ST: Upper age relaxation as prescribed in the notification
  • PwBD and Ex-Servicemen: Additional age relaxation is applicable as per the prescribed rules.
  • If eligible for relaxation under more than one category, only the maximum applicable relaxation will be allowed; relaxations are not cumulative.
