RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board released a notification on 13th September 2024 for the recruitment of vacancies under Non-Technical Popular Categories (Graduates). The application portal for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 is live now and interested candidates will have time up to the 13th of October, 2024 to submit their form.

Eligibility
Education qualification
Candidates should have a University Degree or its equivalent as requisite minimum educational qualifications from a recognized Board/ University/ Institute.
Age
The applicant for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 36 years of age reckoned as of 1st January 2025. i.e applicant must born between 2nd January 1989 to 1st January 2007
The category-wise upper age limit is relaxable as –
- By 5 years for SC/ STP/ STH i.e, born between 2nd January 1984 to 1st January 2007
- By 3 years for OBC/MOBC i.e, born between 2nd January 1986 to 1st January 2007
Ex-servicemen candidates who have put in more than 6 months of service after attestation
- UR & EWS- 3 Years (After deduction of length of service from age)
- OBCNCL- 6 Years (After deduction of length of service from age)
- SC/ST- 8 Years (After deduction of length of service from age)
PwBD age relaxation
- PwBD UR & EWS- 10 Years
- PwBD OBC-NCL- 13 Years
- PwBD SC/ST- 15 Years
Candidates who are serving Group ‘C’ and erstwhile Group ‘D’ Railway Staff, with a minimum of 3 years service as well as Substitutes with a minimum of 3 years service in continuous or in broken spells in Railway.
- UR & EWS- 40 Years of age
- OBCNCL- 43 Years of age
- SC/ST- 45 Years of age
Documents Required
- Class-X/ Class-XlI Examination, Admit Card/ Pass Certificate/ Marksheet issued by Central/ State Board indicating Date of Birth in support of their claim of age
- Certificates of HSLC to Graduation document
- Caste certificate (if Applicable)
- Employment Exchange Number PwBD certificate (wherever Necessary)
- No Objection Certificate (For Ex-Servicemen)
Steps to apply
- Visit the application portal of the RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 by clicking on the link given below
- Then get yourself registered on the portal by selecting the “Create Account” option
- Once the registration process is completed, log in to the portal
- Now, fill out the application form with personal and educational details
- Upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format
- Then proceed to the payment section and pay the applicable fees
- Lastly, submit the form and download it along with the payment receipt for future reference
Selection procedure
The selection procedure for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 consists of the following stages-
- 1st Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT),
- 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test/Computer-based Aptitude Test (as applicable), and Document Verification/ Medical Examination.
The 1st Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), Objective Type test shall be of 90 minutes (120 min for PwBD) duration and total marks shall be of l00 with negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer the following subjectwise distribution-

The 2nd Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), Objective Type test shall be 90 minutes (120 min for PwBD) duration, and total marks shall be of l20 with negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer the following subjectwise distribution:

Application Fees

| PwBD / Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class. | Rs. 250 |
Out of this fee of Rs 500, an amount of Rs 400 shall be refunded for the Unreserved category, similarly an amount will refunded for the other categories after duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT
