SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2023: The State Bank of India (SBI) is inviting online applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Apprentices. There are a total of 6160 vacant posts of apprentice, and interested candidates have time upto 21st of September, 2023 to apply for the same.
Vacancies
The selected candidates of SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2023 will receive a stipend of Rs. 15000/- per month for the engagement period of one year. However, apprentices will not be eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.

Eligibility
The eligibility criteria laid down for SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2023 are as mentioned:
Age Limit:
- Candidates’ age should not be below 20 years and exceed 28 years as of the 1st of August, 2023, i.e. they must have been born between of 2nd of August, 1995 and the 1st of August, 2003 with both the days inclusive.
- There are also certain relaxations in the upper age limit for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwBD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2023: How to apply?
- At first, candidates need to visit the official portal of SBI
- Then go to the “Latest Announcements” section
- Click on the “Apply Online” button given next to the notification of SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2023
- Candidates will now be redirected to the application portal, where they will need to register first
- Then log into the portal and enter all the required educational and personal details
- Next, upload the essential documents along with a passport-sized photograph and signature
- After this, complete the payment procedure by paying the application fee
- At last, click on the “submit” button and download a copy of the payment receipt and application form
Application Fees
The candidates looking to apply for SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2023 need to pay application fees as follows:
- General/ OBC/ EWS: Rs. 300 (including intimation charges)
- SC/ ST/ PWD: Nil
Selection Procedure
The recruitment process for SBI Apprentice basically includes 2 phases, which are an online written test and a test of the local language. Also, candidates may need to appear in a Medical Examination and his/ her selection will be subject to being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank
Phase I (Written Test)
The first phase will be an online written examination (objective type), that includes multiple-choice questions for 100 marks. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 4 sections as follows:

- Except for the test of General English, Test questions for the Written examination shall be set in 13 Regional Languages viz. Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu in addition to English and Hindi Language as per the Table given below in the next section.
- There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests and 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Phase II (Test of local language)
- A language test will be conducted after qualifying for the online written examination to check the knowledge of the specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process.
- Candidates who fail to qualify for this test will not be engaged as apprentices.
- However, if a candidate can submit a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing that they have studied the opted local language, they will not be required to appear in the language test.
