The State Bank of India (SBI) is inviting online applications for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) under SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023. Pay Scale
The remuneration for candidates selected in the SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023 will include salary and other allowances. The salary will be between Rs.17900 – Rs. 47920.
The starting Basic Pay is Rs.19900/- (Rs.17900/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates)
Eligibility
The candidate applying for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023 must have to fulfill the eligibility criteria in the following category:
Age
Candidates’ age should not be below 20 years and exceed 28 years as of 01/04/2023, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/04/1995 and not later than 01/04/2003 (both days inclusive).
Age relaxation for various categories is as follows:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwD (Unreserved): 10 years
- PwD (OBC): 13 years
- PwD (SC/ST): 15 years
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- Candidates having an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before the 31st of December 2023.
- Students who are in their final year or semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before the 31st December 2023.

Interested candidates can apply online for the SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023 through the following steps given below:
- First of all, click the ‘Online Application Portal’ as directed below
- Click the link directed as ‘Click here for New Registration’
- Candidates will now have to provide their mobile number and email
- The candidates applying will have to set a strong password
- Based on the above details, the registration number will be generated
- After this, the candidate needs to enter all the details as directed and upload the essential documents along with the photograph and signature
- After this, the candidate must complete the payment procedure by paying the application fee
- At last, the candidate must click on the “submit” button
- The candidate can take a printout copy of the payment receipt and application form for future references

Selection Procedure
The selection process for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023 will consist of an online test. the medium of the examination will be English. There will be two stages of the examination i.e. Phase 1 – Preliminary exam & Phase 2 – Mains (Main Exam). There will be a test of the specified opted local language as well (Those who qualify for selection and produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be subjected to any Language test).
The Final selection will be subject to:
- Verification of eligibility for the post and information furnished in the online application
- Qualifying in test of specified opted local language, where applicable
Note:
- The results of the candidates who have provisionally qualified for selection in SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023 will be made available on the Bank’s website.
- A wait list of up to 50% of vacancies (State-wise category) will be maintained.
- This waitlist will be valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of final result.
Exam Pattern
Phase 1 – Preliminary exam
The Online Preliminary Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the mark assigned for each question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

Phase 2 – Mains (Main Exam)
An adequate number of candidates selected in SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023, in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 10 times the number of vacancies. subject to availability), will be shortlisted for the Main Exam from the list of all candidates arranged in descending order of aggregate marks scored. Like the Preliminary examination, there will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the mark assigned for each question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Test of specified opted local language
As mentioned above, those who qualify for selection in SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023 and produce a 10th or 12th standard marksheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be subjected to any Language test. In the case of others (qualified for selection), the specified opted local language tests will be conducted after provisional selection but before joining. Candidates who fail to qualify for this test will not be offered the appointment. Candidates not found proficient in the specified opted local language would be disqualified.
