SBI PO 2024: Advertisement is out for 600 Vacancies; Apply Now

SBI PO 2024: The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the official notification for SBI Probationary Officer (PO) Recruitment 2025. This recruitment drive is for 600 vacancies, offering a golden opportunity for banking aspirants to join India’s largest public sector bank. The notification is released on the 26th of December 2024 and the form fillup for the vacancies will begin on 27th of December. The deadline for the application form fill-up will be on the 16th of January, 2025.

Eligible candidates under SBI PO 2024 are required to register online for the recruitment process which will be held in three Phases i.e., (i) Prelims, (ii) Main, and (iii) Interview, Group Discussion & Psychometric Test. Candidates shortlisted after Prelims will have to appear for Mains and be subsequently called for Personal Interview.

Salary of SBI PO

• As per the latest advertisement, the starting basic pay of a Probationary Officer at State Bank of India is 48,480 (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 48480-2000/ 7-62480-2340/ 2-67160-2680/ 7-85920 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I.
• The official will also be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund i.e., NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, Lease rental facility etc. and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
• The approximate CTC at initial scale of at Mumbai Centre is 18.67 Lacs, and it will vary depending on place of posting and other factors.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Academic Qualifications (as of 30/04/2025)

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
• Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for an interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30/04/2025.
• Candidates having an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 30/04/2025.
• Candidates possessing qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountant, and Cost Accountant would also be eligible.

Age Limit (as of 01/04/2024)

• Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as of 01/04/2024 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2003 and not earlier than 02.04.1994 (both days inclusive).
• There are also certain relaxations in the Upper age limit to be selected under SBI PO Recruitment 2024 for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
